Your direct-tools address does not answer

It concerns MCP, the direct tool access. The Model Context Protocol. It lets an assistant call your store's own functions directly instead of driving your website.

Most agents fail at this point. The few that find a way round it spend more time and model calls doing so, and may give up before checkout.

Make the declared MCP endpoint answer a JSON-RPC POST from a client that is not a browser. Serve it directly rather than redirecting: a redirect that changes the method silently discards the request body, so the endpoint looks healthy to a GET and is unusable to an agent.

Run the check that reported MCP_ENDPOINT_UNREACHABLE again after the change. The scan needs no account; an issue found during an AI shopping test needs that test run again.
