What it means

It concerns ACP, the chatgpt checkout. The Agentic Commerce Protocol, from OpenAI and Stripe. It is how ChatGPT completes a purchase on your store.

What it does to an agent

An agent that meets this stops: it cannot finish the journey, and the shopper is sent to a store where it can.

How to fix it

Accept a scoped, single-use delegated payment token. Without one an agent can fill a cart and never pay, which is the most expensive place in the journey to fail.

Check the fix

Run the check that reported ACP_DELEGATED_PAYMENT_REFUSED again after the change. The scan needs no account; an issue found during an AI shopping test needs that test run again.
