What it means

It concerns UCP, the shared catalogue standard. The Universal Commerce Protocol. A shared format Google and Shopify use so an agent can read your catalogue and build a basket without scraping your pages.

What it does to an agent

Most agents fail at this point. The few that find a way round it spend more time and model calls doing so, and may give up before checkout.

How to fix it

The upstream UCP conformance suite ran against this environment and an assertion failed. The failing test id is in the evidence; it names the specification section to read. tragent runs the protocol's own suite rather than paraphrasing the spec, so this is the same verdict a UCP implementer would get running it themselves.

Check the fix

Run the check that reported UCP_CONFORMANCE_FAILED again after the change. The scan needs no account; an issue found during an AI shopping test needs that test run again.
