Your payment-authorisation address does not answer
- AP2_DECLARED_ENDPOINT_UNREACHABLE
- Any
- AP2
- High
What it means
It concerns AP2, the payment authorisation. The Agent Payments Protocol. It proves a real person authorised the agent to spend, so you are not taking an agent's word for it.
What it does to an agent
Most agents fail at this point. The few that find a way round it spend more time and model calls doing so, and may give up before checkout.
How to fix it
Point the UCP manifest at the live mandate endpoint, or remove the declaration. A payment protocol advertised and not served is worse than one not advertised: an agent plans a purchase around it and abandons at the last step.
Check the fix
Run the check that reported AP2_DECLARED_ENDPOINT_UNREACHABLE again after the change. The scan needs no account; an issue found during an AI shopping test needs that test run again.
